What is Parking Mate UK MCP?
It is a connection between an MCP-compatible AI assistant and Parking Mate UK's parking ticket platform. The assistant can access assessment tools, start the relevant service intake and continue a secure existing-case conversation.
Which AI assistants can connect?
Use a client that supports remote MCP over Streamable HTTP. The connection examples cover Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. Other assistants can use the same endpoint where their account or workspace allows custom remote MCP connections. Document-transfer support depends on the client.
Do I need an API key?
The public connection and tool discovery do not require a Parking Mate UK API key. Existing-case information uses a separate verification journey. Connecting the server does not give an assistant unrestricted access to customer records. Access to existing records is authenticated through the AI Case Manager.
Is my assessment free?
Start with a free PCN assessment. The £9.99 appeal service includes the applicable POPLA or IAS appeal and response to the operator's evidence. Later-stage and court document services are priced separately; check the service catalogue for the scope relevant to your notice. Your AI assistant may have its own subscription or usage charges.
Does connecting submit my appeal?
No. Connecting makes the tools available. A quick assessment checks the notice and circumstances; it does not create a case, take payment or submit an appeal. The full intake and relevant paid service handle the next steps after you choose to proceed.
How is this different from asking AI to write a letter?
