ParkingEye Debt Recovery Response Service
ParkingEye Debt Recovery Letter Response for £29.99
Received a debt recovery letter about a ParkingEye charge? The letter is not a County Court Judgment or bailiff notice, but ignoring it can allow the case to progress without your evidence being considered.
Parking Mate UK checks the original Parking Charge, appeal history, recovery timing and additional amount. For £29.99, we prepare and submit the complaint and dispute to ParkingEye and the named debt recovery company, then track the response. Start with a free two-minute assessment.

Challenge the Debt Before It Escalates
A debt recovery letter repeats a demand for an unpaid Parking Charge and may add a recovery amount. It does not prove that the original charge is valid or decide that the money is legally owed.
Parking Mate UK checks the complete case history instead of accepting the latest balance at face value. We identify what is disputed, prepare the response and make clear what ParkingEye and its recovery company must address.
How it works
3 Step Debt Recovery Response
Upload the letter, tell us what happened and Parking Mate UK will prepare, submit and track the response for you.
- 01
Upload Your Debt Recovery Letter
Send the front and back of the letter and the original Parking Charge if available so we can check the demand and case history.
- 02
Tell Us What Happened
Answer a few questions about the parking event, payment, appeal history, address changes and any supporting evidence.
- 03
We Prepare and Submit the Response
We prepare the complaint and dispute, submit it to ParkingEye and the named recovery company, then track their response.
What We Challenge
The response can address both the original Parking Charge and the way debt recovery has been handled. Depending on the case, we may challenge:
- a payment, permit, booking or authorised visit that was ignored;
- an appeal that was not decided before recovery started;
- an original notice that was not received or was sent to the wrong address;
- keeper liability failures under the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012;
- unclear signage, ANPR errors, grace periods or two visits recorded as one;
- the basis and timing of the additional recovery amount;
- misleading wording or failures under the Private Parking Sector Single Code of Practice; and
- a charge that was already cancelled, paid or resolved.
Where the evidence identifies a Code failure, Parking Mate UK also raises a formal complaint with ParkingEye and tells the debt recovery company that the demand is disputed.
What Happens After We Submit the Response
We send you confirmation and a copy of the submitted response, then start tracking the case.
If ParkingEye or the recovery company replies with questions, documents or further evidence, Parking Mate UK assesses the response and explains the next step. You do not need to work through the correspondence or decide how to answer it alone.
Possible Debt Recovery Outcomes
ParkingEye may cancel the Parking Charge, remove or explain the additional amount, restore an appeal opportunity, provide further documents, refer the account back from the recovery company or maintain the demand.
We compare the response with every issue raised and tell you what it means. If the charge is maintained, the case remains disputed and we keep the record ready for the next stage.
If ParkingEye Sends a Letter Before Claim
Further debt recovery letters do not create a County Court Judgment or allow bailiffs to visit. The next legally significant stage in England and Wales is normally a Letter Before Claim.
Do not treat a genuine Letter Before Claim as another routine debt letter. It requires a separate pre-action response. Parking Mate UK can reuse the information already collected and prepare the Letter Before Claim response if the case progresses.
FAQ About ParkingEye Debt Recovery Letters
Should I ignore a ParkingEye debt recovery letter?
No. Keep the letter, check whether it is ordinary debt correspondence or a Letter Before Claim and dispute it where the Parking Charge, liability, amount or recovery process is wrong.
Is a debt recovery letter a court claim?
No. It is part of a civil collection process. A court claim begins only if a County Court Claim Form is issued.
Can a debt recovery company send bailiffs?
Not at this stage. Bailiff enforcement would require a court judgment, non-payment of that judgment and a later enforcement process.
What do I need for the free assessment?
Upload the front and back of the debt recovery letter and the original Parking Charge if available. Then tell us what happened, including any payment, appeal, address change or cancellation evidence.
What does the £29.99 service include?
Parking Mate UK checks the original charge and recovery history, prepares and submits the complaint and dispute, sends you confirmation and tracks the response.
What happens if the case progresses?
If ParkingEye later sends a Letter Before Claim or County Court Claim, the information already collected can be used to prepare the correct response for that stage.
